Un soggiorno nel Cilento non può non prevedere una visita al sito archeologico della città antica di Paestum che, a più di 2500 anni dalla fondazione, conserva intatto il proprio charme.
Visita dell’area archeologica greco-romana, l’antica Poseidonia, con guida. L’area archeologica è ricompresa all’interno di una cinta muraria di circa 5 km che sorge tra il mare e la collina di Capaccio, e che conserva al suo interno tre esempi di templi dorici. La Basilica (ca. 530 a.C.) è il più antico ed imponente, il Tempio di Cerere (fine del VI sec. a.C.) il monumento più importante di tutta l’area, il Tempio di Nettuno (metà del V sec. a.C.) considerato il più perfetto dell’architettura templare in Italia e Grecia.
Il Museo Archeologico Nazionale raccoglie eccezionali reperti, dalle suppellettili preistoriche ai corredi funerari. Di straordinario interesse sono le lastre tombali dipinte, tra cui la più celebre è la Tomba del Tuffatore (ca. 480 a.C.).
Al termine della visita tempo libero.

A stay in Cilento cannot fail to include a visit to the archaeological site of the ancient city of Paestum, which, more than 2,500 years after its foundation, preserves its charm intact.
Guided visit of the Greek-Roman archaeological area, ancient Poseidonia. The archaeological area is enclosed within a defensive wall of about 5 km that stands between the sea and the Capaccio hill, and which preserves three examples of Doric temples inside. The Basilica (c. 530 BC) is the oldest and most imposing, the Temple of Ceres (late 6th century BC) is the most important monument in the entire area, and the Temple of Neptune (mid-5th century BC) is considered the most perfect example of temple architecture in Italy and Greece.
The National Archaeological Museum collects exceptional artifacts, from prehistoric utensils to grave goods. Of extraordinary interest are the painted tomb slabs, among which the most famous is the Tomb of the Diver (c. 480 BC).
At the end of the visit, free time.
Return to the hotel.

Pæstum : la Grande-Grèce

Un séjour dans le Cilento ne peut s’envisager sans une visite du site archéologique de l’ancienne cité de Pæstum qui, plus de 2500 ans après sa fondation, conserve son charme intact.
Visite guidée de la zone archéologique gréco-romaine, l’ancienne Posidonia. La zone archéologique est entourée d’une enceinte fortifiée d’environ 5 km s’élevant entre la mer et la colline de Capaccio, et abrite en son sein trois exemples de temples doriques. La Basilique (vers 530 av. J.-C.) est le plus ancien et le plus imposant, le Temple de Cérès (fin du VIe siècle av. J.-C.) est le monument le plus important de tout le site, et le Temple de Neptune (milieu du Ve siècle av. J.-C.) est considéré comme le plus parfait de l’architecture de style temple en Italie et en Grèce.
Le Musée Archéologique National rassemble des pièces exceptionnelles, du mobilier préhistorique aux trousseaux funéraires. Les dalles funéraires peintes revêtent un intérêt extraordinaire, la plus célèbre étant la Tombe du Plongeur (vers 480 av. J.-C.).

Geführte Besichtigung des griechisch-römischen archäologischen Areals, des antiken Poseidonia. Die archäologische Zone ist von einer rund 5 km langen Stadtmauer umgeben, die sich zwischen dem Meer und dem Hügel von Capaccio erhebt, und beherbergt im Inneren drei Beispiele dorischer Tempel. Die Basilika (ca. 530 v. Chr.) ist der älteste und imposanteste, der Athena-Tempel, auch bekannt als Tempel der Ceres (Ende des 6. Jhs. v. Chr.), das wichtigste Monument des gesamten Areals, und der Neptuntempel (Mitte des 5. Jhs. v. Chr.) gilt als der vollkommenste Tempelbau in Italien und Griechenland.
Das Archäologische Nationalmuseum beherbergt außergewöhnliche Funde, von prähistorischen Haushaltsgegenständen bis hin zu Grabbeigaben. Von außerordentlichem Interesse sind die bemalten Grabplatten, unter denen das Grab des Tauchers (ca. 480 v. Chr.) das berühmteste ist.
