La Reggia di Caserta: la Versailles del Regno di Napoli

Proseguimento per Caserta, dove si visiterà La Reggia, che, per Carlo di Borbone fu l’esaudimento del suo desiderio di realizzare un’opera imponente che emulasse Versailles.
Uno dei più vasti e maestosi edifici d’Italia, realizzato in ventidue anni di lavoro, dal 1752 al 1774 dall’architetto Luigi Vanvitelli prima e da suo figlio Carlo dopo. A pianta rettangolare con quattro ampi cortili interni, il Palazzo, che si estende su un’area di più di quarantacinquemila metri quadrati, è alto trentasei metri, con cinque piani, milleduecento stanze, trentaquattro scale interne e millesettecentoquarantadue finestre. Alcuni di questi appartamenti sono aperti al pubblico e visitabili.
La visita proseguirà alla scoperta del Parco della Reggia di Caserta che è uno dei parchi più belli d’Europa, protetto dall’Unesco come patrimonio dell’umanità. E’ un continuo susseguirsi di vedute, giochi d’acqua, di grotte ed anfratti, in un gioco sempre nuovo di delizie, in cui vengono esaltate la natura e i miti legati alle acque ed ai boschi.
Il Parco, anche questo visitabile è una splendida e grandiosa opera d’arte che contribuisce a fare della Reggia di Caserta una delle opere più belle del mondo.

The Royal Palace of Caserta: the Versailles of the Kingdom of Naples

After reaching Caserta, we will visit the Reggia, that was commisioned by Charles of Bourbon with the desire to realize an impressive building to emulate Versailles.
The Palace is one of the biggest and most majestic building of Italy. It was realized in twenty-two years’ work, from the 1752 till 1774 by the architect Luigi Vanvitelli and then continued by his son. The palace has a rectangular plan with four inner courts and covers more than 45.000 s.q.m. It is 36 m higt and has 5 floors, 1,200 rooms, 34 stairways unwind and 1742 windows. Some of these apartments are open to the public and can be visited.
The visit will go on to the Park of the Palace that is one the most beautiful park in Europe and it’s designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The wonderful sight, made by the “water games” of the fountains, caves and ravines, is designed to glorify the nature and the legends related to the waters and to the woods.
The Park, that can also be visited, is a magnificent and impressive art work that makes the Reggia of Caserta one the most beautiful site of the world.
Back to the hotel in the late afternoon.

On continu pour Caserta où on visitera « La Reggia », laquelle pour « Carlo di Borbone » fut l’accomplissement de son vœu de réaliser une œuvre imposant qu’il imitât Versailles. L’un des plus grand et majestueux bâtiments d’Italie, réalisé en 22 ans de travail, du 1752 au 1774 d’abord par l’architecte Luigi Vanvitelli puis de son fils Carlo. À plan rectangulaire avec quatre vastes cours intérieurs, le Palais, qui s’étend sur 45.000 mètres carres, est haute 36 mètres, avec cinq étages, 1.200 chambres, 34 escaliers intérieurs et 1742 fenêtre. Certains appartements sont ouverts au public et visitables.
La visite continuera à la découverte du Parc de la « Reggia di Caserta » que c’est un de parc plus beaux d’Europe, protégée par l’UNESCO comme patrimoine de l‘humanité. C’est une succession continue d’esprits, jeu d’eau, grottes et anfractuosités, dans un jeu toujours nouveau où on exalte la nature et le mythes liés aux eaux et aux forets.
Le Parc, aussi visitable est une superbe œuvres d’art qui contribue à rendre la « Reggia di Caserta » une des plus belles œuvres du monde.
